Soobstack

The wonders of soobstack. It's just a very wonderful place for reading long form content of all kinds. I'd describe it as a Twitter-like social medium for so-called intellectuals, though it's actually more than decent with its fill of literature buffs and all kinds of smarty pants and confident people with strong voices, really inspiring.

It's good for various kinds of interests like literature, arts, science, culture, tech, business, economics, and so on, even theology and improovment. What's extra good about it is that the feeds can be catered specifically to your interests so you can block out any unwanted topics in the settings for algorithms. I think they also did the same for Twitter a while back, but I forgot.

Personally I'd go on to a more extreme means of not only muting, but blocking all unwanted accounts on sight, especially those who scream pretentious pseudointellectual tiktok immigrant thought daughter or false hermeticism and ascensionism pick-meism. But that's what I do personally. Though so far I'm impressed by how easy it is to control our algorithm just by making several tweaks and staying away from scrolling as much as possible.

You can also subscribe to any publications at a price or for free. I think Medium has a similar system but I've never gotten so much into it. Free subscriptions are available for all, at some access limit that is. But being the cheapskates we are I think no one would bother to hand out money for a pledged subscription, as much as we know it's right to support these writers for pouring out their hearts' content into their works.

You can also make posts with no word limits and publish everything to your heart's content. Seriously you can post whatever you want because in the vast sea of modern day literature in the digital library of Alexandria I think worrying about anyone stumbling across your silly goofy little amalgamation of words is one of the last things you'd have your mind on.

If you ever decide to hang around there, don't be pretentious about it. Enjoy your time and humble yourself.
