Behind The Blog
This blog is a collection of several sub-blogs, if you can call it that. I figured it would be best to compile everything into one place for the sake of my own convenience, hopefully yours too.
If I could sum it up, Mihi Ipsi is general, Liquor Cerebri is intellectual, Pseudoprandial is recreational, and Autocardiotomy is personal. The use of medical phrases is intentional in a way I'd like to make it aesthetically pleasant. Also, it makes for a more uniform collection.
The intention behind the design of this site is legibility. Further elaboration on my decision can be found on my upcoming entry.
Behind Me
Hi, I'm Ling, an Indonesian medical student. With Ling (伶) as the derivative of my Chinese name, I've always thought it sounds a lot like the number zero (零). It resonates a lot with how I feel a lot of the times, fundamentally lacking something that makes me human. All I remain to feel like is the stupid purple alien on my favicon, yet here I still persist.
I have too many hobbies and I think I need a way to book them all. I don't think I need to mention them one by one, but I just feel like I should journal my activities or else my mind might disappear. All despite how busy I already am.
Behind You
Who are you? What are you doing here? What did you like about what you read here? What did you dislike about what you saw? What do we have in common? What do we have by contrast? Is there anything you'd like to say?
You can reach out to me on Substack, contact me via email, or leave a message below. I might be one of the worst conversationalists you've ever met so please keep that in mind. Thank you!
